1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using YardMart (yardmart.com.ng and app.yardmart.com.ng), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. What YardMart Is

YardMart is a Nigerian marketplace that connects buyers and sellers. We provide tools for listing items, communication, and basic payment facilitation (bank transfer confirmation or Paystack). We are not a party to transactions between users and do not take ownership of goods.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraud.

4. Listings and Content

You may only list items you have the right to sell. Prohibited items include illegal goods, stolen property, weapons, counterfeit items, and anything that violates Nigerian law. We may remove listings at our discretion.

5. Payments and Transactions

Payments are arranged between buyer and seller. When using bank transfer, the seller confirms receipt before shipping or meeting. Paystack payments are processed by Paystack under their terms. YardMart does not hold funds except where explicitly stated in a feature.

6. Meetups and Delivery

Users are responsible for arranging safe meetups or delivery. We recommend public places. YardMart is not liable for issues that occur during in-person exchanges.

7. Fees

Creating a shop and listing items is currently free. We may introduce fees in the future with notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

YardMart is provided “as is.” We are not liable for losses arising from user transactions, inaccurate listings, or platform downtime, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
